After graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, Dr Morgan practiced at a 24-hour emergency, critical care hospital in Fresno for 3 years. She moved to the Central Coast in 1991 and has been providing veterinary care to dogs and cats ever since. In 2009, Dr. Morgan went on to complete a Fellowship in Anesthesia at the University of Davis, CA.
Dr Morgan worked at several veterinary clinics in the Five Cities and Santa Maria area before opening Primary Care Dog and Cat Hospital in July of 2000. Since then, she has been fortunate enough to assemble a very dedicated and compassionate staff. Everyone at Primary Care Dog and Cat Hospital is committed to providing exceptional care in the most professional and understanding manner to our patients and their family members. We take pride in offering the highest quality of service in a clean, odor free, comfortable and progressive facility.

Mark started his career in the veterinary field in October of 2005 as a volunteer at M.A.R.E. Riding Center, a therapeutic equine facility in the Central Valley. He moved to the Central Coast in 2006 in order to advance his career as a Veterinary Practice Manager, and earn his Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Management, which was accomplished in January 2010.
Tina joined our team in 2005 and brings with her the care and compassion our clients have grown to expect. She is a valuable asset to our hospital and ensures each client is treated with respect. Tina's outgoing attitude helps her to enjoy her work, and her life outside of work. She has resided on the Central Coast most of her life, and enjoys the quality time she spends with her husband, two daughters; two dogs, German Shepherd Brody,
Chihuahua Alice, and three playful cats. Since joining the Primary Care team in 2010, Kayla strives to make sure every client and patient are warmly welcomed and that care is provided even after our patients leave the hospital. As a Central Coast native, Kayla spends her spare time hiking and playing on the beach with her two dogs and relaxing with her two cats.
Amy has devoted her time to animal care since 1996, and has been assisting Dr. Morgan since 1997. She has accomplished many goals in her career, including her Bachelor of Animal Science, which she received from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and her Masters Degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Agricultural Education and Program Development through Texas A&M. She has been licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) since 1998.
Audrey's love of animals began as a young child, and lead to her desire to want to help them on a professional level, here at PCDCH. Audrey has four animals of her own and working in this field has given her a better respect and understanding of the human-animal bond. Audrey is currently enrolled in a distance learning program to help her become a registered veterinary technician. We are pleased to have Audrey on board and look forward to her success with PCDCH.
Lori grew up on the Central Coast, and devoted over 10 years to human health care in a local Pathology lab. Lori is currently enrolled in courses to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant and looks forward to completing a RVT program in the future. Lori loves spending her free time camping and going on off-road trips with her husband and monster mutt, Tigger.
