Primary Care Animal Hospital welcomes Dr. Cody Lewis!
I discovered the Central Coast while attending Cal Poly to major in Biochemistry, then went to Kansas State for my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in 2005 and have been working on the central coast ever since.
My greatest joy in working with animals is to keep them healthy and to give them the level of care that their owners expect. I take pride in providing progressive medicine and really enjoy working with animals who have complex issues. I focus on the most effective and compassionate way to provide care for all of my patients. Primary Care Animal Hospital features a solid medical and patient care foundation, including a great office and surgical support staff.
While we always try to use non-surgical means to ensure your pet's comfort and health, we also provide a full surgical clinic for orthopedic (joint) repair, ACL and patella surgeries, soft tissue surgeries, spay and neuter surgeries, and dentistry. We have added a new Digital Ultrasound Diagnostic Imaging System to our hospital which allows us to provide ultrasound services to our patients. This is an important tool when needing to expedite diagnoses. I look forward to continuing the same quality care that Primary Care's pet owners have come to expect, and look forward to nurturing new relationships.
We believe pets are much beloved family members and as such should be treated gently and compassionately by their caretakers. Our staff will interact with you in a respectful and conscientious manner to provide the appropriate information needed to make the best decisions on behalf of your pet and your family.
