Why We Choose to Be AAHA-Accredited

The veterinary team at Primary Care Animal Hospital strives to provide nothing but the best care for your pet and the best customer service to you. We want you to feel confident that your pet will receive high-quality, compassionate care by a team of caring and experienced professionals during each visit. Our goal is to always hold the highest standards for you and your companion, which is why we chose to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Founded in 1933 by a team of veterinary leaders, AAHA is an acclaimed veterinary organization that helps veterinary professionals provide animal care and client services using a list of stringent guidelines, known as benchmarks of excellence. After being evaluated by the Association and passing the inspection, we received AAHA-accreditation status, an honor that approximately 11% of practices in the country hold.

About Our Veterinary Accreditation

As an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, we are voluntarily evaluated every three years on hundreds of standards of veterinary excellence. These standards encompass a range of areas related to pet care and to our veterinary facility. They include cleanliness, diagnostic care, dental services, procedures, and pain management. Our accreditation indicates our high level commitment to your pet’s wellness while also demonstrating our ability to promote safety in our hospital.
